my-twisted-fantasie: collidewththesky: ephium: This isn’t something I would typically reblog, but I figured since it was on my dash I would share a story with everyone. Back in October, I went to a Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens concert and something happened. I’m not sure what made me do this, and I’m not saying I regret doing it, but it’s not something I wouldn’t normally do to a stranger. To make a long story short, at the concert I drifted away from the friends I went with and found myself beside a girl whose wrists were covered in scars. Some of her scars still had dry blood surrounding them. I could tell she was under a lot of emotional stress and pain, just by looking at her face. We talked occasionally throughout the concert, sharing our love for each band. When this song started playing, some voice within me kept saying, “Reach for her hand. Just do it. You know she needs to know someone cares.” When Vic began singing this line,“I kissed the scars on her skin, I still think you’re beautiful, and I don’t ever wanna lose my bestfriend,”I gently took her hand in mine, flipped her arm over, and kissed her scars. She looked at me with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. And I knew this smile wasn’t a fake smile she had mastered. It was pure happiness, radiating from her face. That night I realized how much of a difference a small action like that could impact someone’s life. I encourage everyone to perform at least one small, kind gesture for someone who needs it most.  i know i’ve reblogged this like a zillion times but i have to again because of how amazing that is ^^^^ TumbleOn)
